My name is Natalia Djachenko. I am 53 years old. I am from Kharkiv. Because Kharkiv is only 30 kilometres from the Russian border, it was constantly bombed. Many parts of the city are destroyed. Many residents have lost their lives. Almost every day, there are either aircraft attacks or rocket attacks. Kharkiv is one of the most bombed cities in Ukraine.

I first worked in construction, but last year I worked as a baker in Germany. I liked working as a pastry chef, and here I am missing it. There are also difficulties. There are many letters from offices. That was difficult because I don’t understand what it says, and I was always looking for help. What would you like from me? What else should I fill out? For example, I’m attending a language course, and I must work. Yes, that’s a bit difficult, of course, but I don’t understand how you can afford to work and take a language course. But at the same time, I get financial help from the Jobcenter.
